Same thing with me on Number 3; I'm still horrible at Lei (partially b/c all of the older generation actually uses Voi in formal!). P told me not to worry about it, so I don't. I figure it's my small form of protest for some of the over-the-top formalness and butt-kissing ;)

Ah, and Number 5? Excellent reason for us not to tell anyone when we're getting married. I rather enjoy my books as well.

That's funny. It's my silent protest, too.

As for the bookshelves, I've only ever really seen them in homes where at least one person is foreign, or someone has lived abroad.
