Well, my week in England is up and it's back to Gatwick for me in four hours.
Fed up of trying to get some sleep in the chairs at the airport, I've booked myself into the new Yotel which has just opened on the concourse there.
It's £40 for eight hours kip which seems pretty good going to me, especially because it's actually inside the terminal and not a 20-minute taxi ride away like most airport hotels.
I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow when I'm back in Sardinia. In the meantime, read all about it from Yotel.com. You can see room plans, pictures and the services provided.
My email is still on the blink. Please email on [email protected]. Thanks.
I'm interested in the outcome of your stay there! Coming from someone who slept crunched up in a chair at Heathrow, this would have been a blessing!

Hi Sara
Don't tell me! I was exactly like that last time I was in Gatwick and thought 'I can't do this anymore', especially because it wiped me out the next day. I was a zombie and totally unable to work.
Yotel even has wifi and email access via the tv, both for free, so you can work, too.
Will indeed be reporting back tomorrow or Friday.

Hi Emma, great to hear from you, and wonderful to hear from somebody else who took the giant leap of faith.
Now I have discovered your blog, I shall become a regular and look forward to comparing notes on life in Italy (Sardinia) to life in Crete.
Keep in touch.
Warmest,
Annie J.

Hi Annie
Ooooh. Comparing life on two sun-soaked islands in the Med sounds like fun, especially now I'm back in the warm (28°C) after a week in a rather chilly England!
